15% organic acreage

The 15% Organic Target

The Netherlands aims to triple its organic farmland to 15% by 2030. But a fair transition cannot rest on the shoulders of the consumer alone while the market remains skewed. To bridge this gap, Robin Food, RVO, and Questionmark have launched the 15% Club.

This coalition brings together supermarkets, foodservice leaders, and producers to commit to category-wide organic shifts. By moving entire product groups at once, we achieve the scale necessary to close price gaps and provide long-term security for both farmers and off-takers—fully compliant with ACM antitrust guidelines.

However, the counter currently stands at only 5.1%. The annual growth of organic acreage is far too slow to reach the target on time. The 15% Club is here to change that.
